Michael Budde has been appointed as Banyan's new finance officer, responsible for the company's financial health and growth.
FREMONT, CA: Michael Budde joins Banyan as Chief Financial Officer to focus on the company's financial health and work with the team to promote and maintain sustainable growth. Budde has the requisite experience to manage the Banyan team, having previously worked as the Nielsen Sports CFO and the Global Finance Leader across Technology, Data Science, and Investments.
“The landscape for this industry is changing rapidly and I am dedicated to partnering with the Banyan leadership team to drive our financial strategy forward,” said Budde. “I am confident that my skills and experience will accelerate Banyans transformation of the fintech space, expand retailers top and bottom lines, and offer financial transparency for the everyday consumer.”
Michael provides considerable experience in the big data field and directing global teams as a seasoned leader who drives revenue and manages strategic projects and investments for data firms.
“We are a well funded technology startup with a wealth of potential in the fintech space and Michael’s talent and leadership is exactly what we need to maintain a healthy balance sheet,” said Banyan CEO Jehan Luth. “The entire team is looking forward to Michaels’s contribution to the team and contributing to sustainable growth and a successful future.”
Banyan makes it simple for customers to link their receipts to their preferred apps and services. Using the Banyan API, retailers can monetize these connections simply and safely while also gaining valuable information and new marketing opportunities. Banyan offers complete transparency and control to our merchant partners, and our privacy-by-design architecture demands consumer agreement before any receipts are shared. For the first time, financial institutions, fintechs, and consumer apps have access to item-level transaction data, allowing them to create extraordinary customer experiences and solutions.
